My first backsplash CC was pretty well received so I decided to make another. This time I wanted to make something a little toned down, but still colorful. I also wanted to make some smaller tiles so there are 2 variations!

🎀 ACNH Sanrio Set: Remaining Items 🎀

Sims 4, base game compatible except the functional vanity & dancefloor which require Vintage Glamour & Get Together | 35 items | Some extra swatches added by me 💗 | See bottom of post for all previously made Sanrio items from other sets

I try my best to make things functional, the large beds work perfectly as they have 2 mesh groups, and I used the EA mattress. The My Melody bed has 1 mesh group, sims can sleep under the covers, but the bed moves a bit when the sim gets into it.

Always suggested: bb.objects ON, it makes placing items much easier. For further placement tweaking, check out the TOOL mod.

Use the 0,9 keyboard feature to raise items or lower them

Use the scale up & down feature on your keyboard to make the items larger or smaller to your liking. If you have a non-US keyboard, it may be different keys depending on which alphabet it uses.

*Remember to run the DX11 batch fix if you are using DX11. I do not use DX11 with my game, when I looked up what would happen if I ran the batch fix even though I don't have this turned on, the consensus was not to do this if you are not using the DX11 option. For those that have never done it, do not fear for it is very simple and will update any CC in your mods folder that needed it to work with DX11. I know the new DX11 API causes issues having something to do with the wall items, or other image texture-related things- that I know of. If you do not have Sims 4 Studio, here is a link about how to install it from their official website. And of course, if you need help please send me a message.

Thanks to dumbkatsure for sending this gorgeous 1905 granite stone, Chateauesque style house in Fort Wayne, IN. It has 7bds, 8ba, and is listed for $899,900. I'm surprised that it's under $1M. The owner must be anxious to sell b/c it's also been reduced $50K.

Isn't this an unusual entry? There's a foyer, and then it's open with columns on the left, framing the sitting area and wide stairs recessed to the right.

This is such an unusual placement of stairs. They're wide, intricately carved, and the landing is only 3 stairs up. It also has a large niche.

Beautiful dining room has an inlaid floor, coffered ceiling and wainscoting.

A hall has a doorway with columns and then another sitting area with columns, just like the ones in the entrance. The owners have their art collection displayed and described just like in a museum. This layout is so open.

I'm not sure what this room is, but it looks like that's a bar. Another beautiful room with a coffered ceiling and wainscoting. Stairs are visible in the hall. The owners don't have the home set up the way it's intended to be, as you'll see from the floor plan.

In this room, the owner has glass cases with many artifacts on display. It looks like some of the furniture is also a part of their collection. I can see a beautiful fireplace in the corner.

Next comes the cozy kitchen. It's cute, and they've got a matching gothic screen that forms a clever faux closet.

Looks like a cook's stove, but I wouldn't want art over it. I'd prefer a tile backsplash.

Their art decorates the walls going up the stairs, as well as the wall under the stairs. They even got lighting installed under the landing. I wonder why they like leaving doors open.

The primary bedroom has an alcove for the bed. Art with descriptive cards also decorates this room.

Lovely bedroom. It's also quite spacious.

The library has a beautiful fireplace and built-in shelving. There goes another open door.

The attic is beautifully finished. There's an apt. up here with a full kitchen.

A bed is tucked into a perfect space next to an exposed brick wall.

Outdoors, the gardens are stunning. Coming down the stairs, there are hedges, flowers and greenery lining paths to the street.

Beautiful entrance with a porch large enough for a bench.

They got some seating behind a stone wall with trees and a view of the street.

Ivy covered arbor with seating.

Here's another patio with an ivy covered entrance and the privacy of lush greenery.

This ivy covered castle-like home is a stunner and so fascinating.

It's on a .28 acre tree-filled lot. There's also an ivy-covered garage.

You can see the separation of the suburban neighborhood and the city.

MORE being domestic with Logan pt 2: BUT you and logan get your first home together

- whatever your situation is with logan, either an apartment together, living seperate, living in the mansion- you both decided you wanted to get a house together

- logan picks up the more serious responsibilities of finding a house (not bc you couldnt do it and youre fully aware of everything. Its just logan has been alive for 200 years and he knows exactly what to do and expect) while you just scroll through pics on zillow and point out the houses you like and didnt lile

-whether you two want kids or not, you still agree to get a slightly bigger home- just to be able to have space for the chaos that may or may not ensue from yourselves or loved ones who visit

- you are more whimsy about how pretty the house is. Logan drills the realtor over the history, maintenance, plumbing, electrical- you name it he questions it

- "gotta make sure this place is perfect for you bub"

-once you finally pick a place, the lease is signed and keys handed over. You and logan spend the night in your first home that day!! No furntiure, just some pillows and blankets as you lay on the living room floor and talk about how to decorate and where to put furniture

- maybe yall christen the house by making love (fucking) right there on the floor too...

- after the chaos of moving in happens, youre working and logan is home. You come home to find at least one of the bathrooms completely torn out

- you could be mad that logan started this project without talking to you first but tbh you were kinda expecting it. He was staring a bit too hard at the tile when you were looking...

- sometimes you wonder if you should look up nesting habits for wolverines because the man spends the next year on housing projects. Only to learn later from jean that scott did the same thing in their house. Must be a man thing.

- you bicker over paint colors, placement over furniture.

- you and logan never have to pay a contractor to fix anything. No plumbling, electrical, maintenance. The mans got 200 years of experience and hes "not gotta waste money on some asshole who dont even know how to do the job right"

- (he also just doesnt like the idea of strangers in yours and his house)

-HOLIDAYS

- logan acts all tough but hes ALL about decorating for the holidays. Esp christmas

- "cant be letting the neighbors looking better than us"

-he lets you take care of the gardening. Plants just seem to hate him. Hell do the heavy lifting of mulch and soil and cutting the lawn though

-eventually he does get friendly with the neighbors and one day you cant find him and hes outside talking to "Gary" and several other men on the street, beers in hand, as they watched someone down the street cutting down a huge tree and theyre all critiquing his methods

- if youre part of the xmen, you both take turns on missions so someone is always able to be able to keep an eye on the house

- slow dancing in the kitchen at night

- if you get married or are already married he makes it a point to carry you through the threshold. More than once.

- if and when you guys decide to have kids, youre in for a treat.

- if you thought logan was bad before, hes ten times worsting. Hes nesting and has probably redone the babys/kids bedroom like 5 times before they arrive

- he wants to put all the baby furniture together but you insist he wait so you both can do it. You end up arguing during half of it but yalls are a team and figure it out (well logan does. You just smile prettily at him while he fixes whatever you messed up)

- if yall are adopting, logan is so tense about the house looking perfect and being a home for the one your adopting.

-hes worried about being a dad but honestly hed been a dad for a long ass time, maybe not biologically a dad yet, but he def is in spirit (rogue, kitty, laura, you name them)

Garden Center Collection

A collection of 32 items converted from Sims 4 to help you decorate your garden centers and/or gardens.

UPDATE 02/03/2024

Got rid of dark spots on some planter meshes, deleted mipmaps, renamed some planters (4 plants became 5 plants for some because there are 5 slots), enabled quarter tile placement on some forgotten objects.

I recommend deleting your whole folder and replacing it with the new one.

JSB Grocery 001: (Functional Jacky93Sims Remix)

Published: 1-13-2024 | Updated: N/A SUMMARY Grocery store objects (Severinka_, 2022; BodegaBaby, 2021) converted by Jacky93Sims (2023), have been edited, expanded, and made functional. Slots have been added to most surfaces along with new items and recolors (select AL Woods; CuriousB, 2010). Some objects require shifting and/or placement cheats for ideal positioning. See below for details.

DETAILS Requires all EPs/SPs. §100-500 | Buy > Surfaces/Electronics Items with “MESH” in their filename are REQUIRED for textures/recolors to display correctly in-game. Also, Object Freedom 1.02 (Fway, 2023) is required. Since some items are cloned from shelves, you may need to shift items up once in order for them to place properly.

Display Island 4 (Fish) is cloned from the default grocery bin and now has an empty state. There is an “ice only” recolor in case you want to decorate it with your own food items -  just know that it will be harder to tell when the bin needs restocking if you use this recolor.

Cold displays/fridges only have slots on the bottom-left side, and Display Island 3 only has slots on the front side. This is on purpose to allow intersection with other deco objects. Also, Shelf 3 (Fridge) is the ONLY shelf that will keep food from spoiling. Do not place perishable items on other shelves/displays! Medieval Stables - Hood Deco and Build set

Hood Deco Buildings and Objects:

Stable buildings to decorate your hood. Converted from Settlers 5 and adapted for Sims 4.

In this set (one merged file): - 2 stables with deco around them

- 2 stables - plain - no surrounding deco

- 2 deco towers, separated

- deco fences: one that is perfect to use around a 20x30 lot, one straight one that is possible to use for longer fences. The straight one has a footprint (use to block sims off).

 All relatively low poly and small textures - perfect as background deco.

Find them searching for "Stables" to see all related items in catalog.

Place it in empty spots in you hood using T.O.O.L  by TwistedMexi.

Settlers Stables Build Set Walls, Floors, Rooves:

To match the Settlers Stables deco buildings, I used the textures from Settlers 5 to make matching walls, floors and rooves.

In this set:

4 plaster walls (tudor style/fachswerk)

2 stone walls (one of them using photo wall tech, placement with that in mind)

1 wooden floor and 1 stone floor

2 rooves (thatched, tiled)

1 matching roof trim

1 foundation

Figurine from Georgia (South Caucasus), c.300-200 BCE: this figurine was found buried in a pit beneath the ruins of an ancient temple; it was decorated with gold jewelry, wrapped in a burial shroud, and then placed in its own special "grave"

This is one of seven figurines that have been unearthed from similar burial pits throughout the city of Vani, which once served as the cultural, religious, and administrative center for the Kingdom of Colchis. Each figurine was crafted from bronze or iron, decorated with pieces of gold jewelry, wrapped in a special shroud, and then buried in a small "grave" that had been dug beneath (or near) one of the many temples that once stood throughout the city.

From The Golden Graves of Ancient Vani:

... other discoveries at Vani have shed light on Colchian culture. Most compelling are seven metal figurines, dating to 300–200 B.C., that have been discovered both in and near sacred structures at Vani. Adorned with gold jewelry and apparently wrapped in decorated garments, the figures were carefully buried in a way that seems to mimic the human burials at the site. Their precise function remains unclear, but they probably related to local religious and funerary customs.

And the Fitzwilliam Museum (which exhibited some of the artifacts from Vani back in 2008) adds:

Distinct local ritual practices are suggested during [the 3rd century BCE] as can bee seen from the four bronze and iron figurines displayed in the exhibition. These were discovered on the city’s upper terrace and were all buried in or near a sanctuary; this placement may well indicate a religious or funerary function for the figurines. The example illustrated here was placed between two terracotta tiles that were buried in a pit cut into the bedrock, thus mimicking contemporary human burials.

The figurine has a head with disproportionately large features, a low sloping brow, and an elongated torso with bowed arms and stiffly rendered legs. Most striking is its lavish gold jewellery, some of which reflects types worn by those buried at Vani. In addition to gold earrings, a torque (neck ring), and bracelets, five gold rosettes appear to have been strung around the figurine’s head and several pendants were found in its chest area.

The form and detail of their jewellery date the four figurines to the 3rd century BC. Their precise function, surely of local religious nature, still remains a subject of discussion. However, it is worth noting that the intriguing practice of burying such figurines in a ritualistic manner appears to be specific to Vani during its phase as a sanctuary city.

During antiquity, the Kingdom of Colchis covered the Western half of what is now the nation of Georgia, located in the South Caucasus. Colchis was famous for its talented goldsmiths, and it ultimately came to be known as the homeland of the fabled Golden Fleece -- the destination of Jason and the Argonauts, according to the Greek Argonautica.

LAMPS: My note for now on all lamps is that they need the brightness turned down in game for them to look normal. I have an issue in Blender with the vertex paintbrush just not working, it paints/refuses to paint wherever it wants no matter what I try. It's something I'm always looking for the answer to, and any other creator who likes any of the lamps is welcome to add vertex paint to them. I would update the file and add a credit to said creator.  BEDS: Most beds are made with the cot as the base (or other very simple bed object), it's difficult to find something to "work" with the ACNH mesh. I haven't yet 100% hashed out how to make them *perfectly* functional in TS4, but the sims will sleep on top of them.

Welcome to the volcanic rock house (it has a bunch of other rocks, too). Still sitting on the market, I've posted it before. Built in 1978 it's right on Lake Lyndon B. Johnson off the Colorado River, in Horseshoe Bay, TX. 6bds, 6ba, $13.5M.

Rocky front steps up to the front door. Odd placement of railings- I guess you shouldn't walk up the center.

Cement doors flanked by lava rock.

A matching curved wall. Note the stone flooring and random piece of lava rock on the left.

Steps down to a living room with a view of the lake. Natural lava rock forms decorate the stairs and rails. There's also a lava rock fireplace.

Terrace. Don't even think of diving off the terrace into the lake. Look at those rocks. (Murder-make-it-look-like-an-accident-scene?)

The kitchen has tree trunk custom-made cabinetry. I don't know if it's real or simulated. The island, however, is real lava rock. I think that the counters are real wood, but they could be laminate. There's also a large wine rack in the wall.

Double doors open to a bedroom. The whole house has amazing views of the LBJ River.

The spacious room has a vaulted ceiling and a private terrace.

The en-suite has a tile shower, tile sink counter and stone bowl-style sink.

The primary suite is huge and even has a loft, plus a vaulted ceiling.

There's even an accordion door to close out the light. Did they leave a piece of art?

There's an office area with a desk and cabinetry.

The terrace.

It has a large, rounded en-suite with tile and stone. Look at the shower- there's a bench to look out at the river. You could sit there naked, and wave to the boats going by.

Lava rock halls.

Outside is an infinity pool.

Covered stone patio with an outdoor kitchen.

Large wood deck beside the boat dock.

Gotta have a boat dock when you're right on a lake.

Beautiful natural landscaping.

Lots of rocks in the lake.
